The Trento line is designed for durability and long-term use. The corner joints are exposed, giving the beds a modern look; assembly and disassembly remain straightforward even after multiple moves.

Wood Finishes

In the wood versions, the frame and headboard are made of solid wood; the white-lacquered version is made of MDF.

Painted white. The opaque painted surface is smooth and even, with no visible grain. It makes the bed recede visually and makes the room appear brighter. In this version, the frame is made of MDF.

Bright oak, oiled. A very light oak with a fine, subtle grain. The oiled surface has a velvety feel and gives the bedroom a warm, Nordic-inspired look.

Natural beech heartwood, oiled. Beech wood from old trunks. It is only after reaching an age of about 100 to 120 years that the European beech develops the reddish-colored heartwood inside the trunk, which is used here. The result has a more vibrant and warmer tone than light beech—and each piece is unique.

Walnut, oiled. Walnut is considered a premium hardwood and is among the most sought-after woods for furniture. Its dark brown base color, streaked-to-cloudy grain pattern, and continuous layers create a calm, elegant surface.

Natural wild oak, oiled. Oak with knots and fine cracks, intentionally selected this way. Wood is a natural material: It continues to expand and contract and changes its tone over the years—it matures rather than wears out.

Mass

The dimensions are external measurements. Weight capacity: 170 kg (including bedding) or 350 kg (including bedding), depending on the width.

Delivery and Assembly

What's Included: Bed frame, legs, headboard. The bed is delivered unassembled and takes about 60 minutes to put together; Hasena recommends that one person do this.

• The mattress and box spring are not included.
• For widths of 160 cm or more, Hasena recommends an additional center support; it is sold separately.
• For tall mattresses, the headboard can be raised by 9 or 13 cm using the Head-Plus extension adapter.

Care

Oiled surfaces: When unpacking, there may still be some excess oil on the wood—wipe it off with a soft cloth and let the area air out thoroughly. Every one to three years, it’s a good idea to apply a thin coat of standard furniture oil; this will restore the surface’s silky, velvety softness. Do not use sprays, polishes, or cleaners containing silicone or solvents.

Painted surfaces: Wipe off dust with a dry cloth; wipe away heavier soiling with a damp cloth—never use a cloth that is dripping wet. Harsh cleaning agents can damage the paint; therefore, always test a new cleaning agent on a hidden area first.

Origin

Hasena designs and manufactures its products in Biel-Benken in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. The wood comes from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Slovenia, and the United States. It is FSC-certified.
