Affiliate Marketing

Order Processing and Disclosure to Third Parties
To process your order, we share certain personal data with partner companies. This sharing of data is part of the contract we have entered into with you. We do not share your data with third parties for any purpose other than those specified in this statement or without a legal basis.
Payment processing
Depending on the payment method you choose, we will share the information required for the payment with the following payment service providers:

Shipping
For shipping and returns processing, we share your shipping and contact information with our logistics and courier partners: DPD (Switzerland) AG, Swiss Post AG, and Camion Transport AG.
Ordering System
Our online store is powered by WooCommerce (WordPress). Your order data is processed directly within WooCommerce; we do not use a separate inventory management or ERP system for this purpose.
Purchase on account and credit check (CembraPay)
The “Purchase on Account” payment method (including the installment option) is processed by CembraPay AG, Bändliweg 20, 8048 Zurich. Upon conclusion of the purchase agreement, Mara Vital assigns the invoice claim to CembraPay AG; you will receive the invoice separately via email from CembraPay. A valid email address is required.
By selecting this payment method, you agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of CembraPay AG in addition to our own Terms and Conditions. This payment method requires a successful credit check by CembraPay.
To protect our legitimate interests in mitigating the risk of payment default, we transfer the personal data required for payment processing to CembraPay AG, which conducts identity and credit checks. For this purpose, CembraPay may obtain data from credit bureaus (e.g., Intrum AG) and other sources listed in its privacy policy and processes this data on its own responsibility. To exercise your data rights with respect to CembraPay, please contact CembraPay directly.
Reviews and Market Research
We partner with Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Strasse 15c, 50823 Cologne, Germany, to collect customer reviews and ensure the quality of our offerings. When you place an order, we may share your email address so that you can be invited to review our products and services. This processing is carried out in our legitimate interest in conducting market research on our own products and services. Additional Services
Multilingualism
We use the services of Weglot SAS, 138 Boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France, to translate our website. This may involve the processing of technical usage data.
Appointment Scheduling
We use an appointment scheduling service (Calendly LLC, USA) to book consultation appointments at our showrooms. When you make a booking, the contact information you provide will be processed.
Email Marketing and Your Right to Opt Out
If we receive your email address in connection with the purchase of a product or service and you have not objected to this, we reserve the right to occasionally send you offers for similar products from our range via email. This serves our legitimate interest in marketing our products to our customers.

Transfer of data abroad
Some of the aforementioned service providers are based abroad (e.g., in the EU or the U.S.) or process data there. Data will only be transferred abroad if adequate data protection is ensured—for example, through an adequacy decision, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses supplemented by additional measures, or your express consent.
How long we retain your data
We store the data you manage in the My Account section (e.g., wish lists and addresses) until you delete it.
We retain data regarding your orders and business-related communications for as long as required for contractual, evidentiary, and legal reasons (in particular, commercial and tax law retention requirements, which generally apply for 10 years).
We retain data on website behavior for a maximum of 24 months; after that, we retain only aggregated, non-personal data, to the extent possible.
You can delete your account, which will remove most of the data we have stored about you. For more details, see the “Right to Erasure” section.
Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or destruction. Data transmission on our website is encrypted using TLS/SSL. Our security measures are continuously updated to reflect the latest technological advancements.

Right to Information and Access
You have the right to know whether we process any personal data about you, what data we process, for what purposes, to whom we disclose it, and how long we retain it. You can request this information in the "My Account " section or by emailing info@mara-vital.ch. If you placed an order as a guest, we ask that you first create an account so we can verify your identity.
Right to rectification
You can correct most of your information yourself in the " My Account " section. To correct other information, please contact our customer service department.
Right to erasure
You may request that we delete the personal data we have stored about you; in the "My Account " section, you can delete your account and most of the associated data yourself. However, we are permitted or required to continue retaining certain data:
- Your name and email address, to document the request for deletion
- Your order data, to the extent that there are legal retention requirements (we will no longer use this data for marketing profiling)
- Your communication with us, as necessary
Right to restrict processing
Under certain conditions, you may request that the processing of your data be restricted. If the processing is carried out by an independent third party, please contact that party directly.
Right to data access and portability
You have the right to receive the data you have provided in a commonly used electronic format or, where technically feasible, to have it transferred to another controller.
