The “Quattro + MOVE” slatted base is fully motorized and adjustable. It has 42 slats in 7 zones. The head section with neck adjustment and the foot section with raised feet are infinitely adjustable.
The slatted frame is supported by flexible, multi-laminated beech slats that are set into 3-way rubber caps covering the frame—this means that when two slatted frames are used in a double bed, there is no gap between them.
Nine firmness adjusters ensure personalized comfort.
The slats are approximately 2.5 cm wide, making the entire Quattro+ series ideal for all standard mattress types, such as cold foam mattresses, gel foam mattresses, memory foam mattresses, and pocket spring mattresses. Thanks to the narrow slat spacing and pocket spring mattresses with 1,000 springs in a 100×200 cm size, you’re in good hands here.
The total height, including the wooden slats, is approximately 11 cm.
7-Zone GRATTEN SERIES QUATTRO +
Ideally, a mattress with the same number of zones should be paired with a 7-zone slatted frame, as this is the only way to ensure harmonious interaction, ideal support, even weight distribution, and controlled sinking of the sleeper.
With slatted bases, the shoulder, back, and pelvic areas are particularly important. In the shoulder area, the Quattro + slatted base series features particularly flexible spring slats that support the shoulders as they sink in when lying on your side.
The center zone of the Quattro + series is reinforced to ensure the spine is positioned ergonomically and healthily in the lower back area. Depending on your sleeping position and body weight, the flexibility of the slats in this zone can be adjusted using the firmness control.
In the pelvic area, there are also more flexible spring wood slats that ideally absorb pressure. This comfort zone is also important for side sleepers, as the hip area can sink in deeper. In combination with the right mattress, this helps maintain a straight spinal alignment.
