The “Quattro+” slatted frame series is characterized by its ideal support for the entire body, especially in the shoulder and pelvic areas.
The “Quattro+ NV” slatted base is considered a classic in comfort among luxury bed frames with a fixed design. It features 42 springwood slats arranged in 7 zones. Thanks to the flexible, multi-glued slats mounted in triple rubber caps, the slatted frame features a full-width design—meaning that when two slatted frames are used in a double bed, there is no gap between them.
Personalized comfort is ensured by nine firmness adjusters.
The slats are approximately 2.5 cm wide, making the entire Quattro+ series ideally suited for all common mattress types, such as cold foam mattresses, gel foam mattresses, memory foam mattresses, and pocket spring mattresses. Thanks to the narrow slat spacing, even pocket spring mattresses with approximately 1,000 springs in a 100×200 cm size are perfectly supported.
The height, including the slats, is approximately 11 cm.
7-ZONE SLAT BASE, QUATTRO+ SERIES
Ideally, a 7-zone slatted frame should be paired with a mattress that has the same number of zones, as this is the only way to ensure harmonious interaction and guarantee optimal support, even weight distribution, and controlled sinking of the sleeper.
When it comes to slatted bed bases, the shoulder, back, and pelvic areas are the most important. In the shoulder zone, the Quattro+ slatted bed base series features particularly flexible slats that allow the shoulders to sink in when lying on one’s side.
To ensure ergonomically correct and therefore healthy alignment of the spine in the lower back area, the central zone of the Quattro+ series is reinforced. Depending on your sleeping position and body weight, the flexibility of the slats in this zone can be adjusted using the firmness control.
In the pelvic area, there are also more flexible wood slats that ideally absorb pressure. This comfort zone is also important for side sleepers, as the hip area can sink in more deeply. In combination with the right mattress, this ensures that the spine remains straight.
