The abbreviation “Kul” stands for “Kunstleder” (faux leather) and refers to a leather substitute. The surface has the feel and appearance of real leather but is vegan. Faux leather is a cotton fabric coated with polyester, making it tear- and abrasion-resistant. It can also be processed in large pieces without any seams.
